Ambassadors for Humanity assists feeding those in need

Currently, there are desperate needs for food in both our local and global communities.

One in eight Americans go hungry each day. This statistic is so unfathomable. How can this be in our own country? We grew up thinking we lived in the land of plenty!

Ambassadors for Humanity is reaching out to assist organizations that feed those in need.

Local needs; Our contributions to the Community Resource Center in San Diego helps to feed the needy in our own community. Each day the Community Resource Center supplies food to those in need with assistance from Feeding America and through volunteer contributions.

Global needs; Ambassadors for Humanity visited 2 Mexico orphanages in July during a mission hosted by Airline Ambassadors. Our hearts were saddened when we reviewed the food supplies and needs of the orphans. There were only a few days of food left for just under 100 children! The children had not eaten meat in the last couple of months. Lack of protein creates white spots on the children’s skin and creates debilitating diseases.

Ambassadors for Humanity is a resource to help you realize your humanitarian goals. 100% of your charitable contribution goes to the charities both globally and in your own community. One of our main goals is to ensure your generosity goes to organizations that provide hands on humanitarian service in "real time".

If you would like to donate towards the goal of no child or needy family to go hungry, email info@ambassadorsforhumanity.org your contact information and a good time to call to discuss the details of your contribution.

Ambassadors for Humanity delivers food, school uniforms and needy supplies to support Casa de Paz Orphanage.

Once again we are directed to the children at the Casa de Paz orphanage and their needs for food, basic provisions as well as the necessary school supplies that will allow them to attend school beginning in August.  Congratulations are in order to the Casa de Paz fundraising committee; monthly funds have been raised since last November to keep the gas and electricity turned on for the orphanage.  Many thanks to Airline Ambassador members for their generosity as well as a generous donation from Lagrant Communications.

Our most current fundraising project is for school supplies. In Mexico you cannot attend school without the proper school uniform, back pack, notebooks… If your family is fortunate enough to be able to provide those necessary items you may attend, if not well you just don’t get to go to school!  Ambassadors for Humanity is honored to be a part of the group of individuals dedicated to assisting as many children as possible with the opportunity to go to school.  Along with food, clothing, and direct living provisions, on August 9th and 10th, 150 back packs are to be delivered with the necessary school supplies.  90 will go to 2 different orphanages and the rest will go to BECA children which are the neediest of children just outside of Rosarito but are not placed in orphanages.

Ambassadors for Humanity supports "The Lost Boys" Convention in San Diego.

The lost boys incredible journey began 22 years ago in the midst of Sudan's civil war in which two million people died and 4 million lives were displaced. Thousands of lost boys fought off crocodiles and other dangers we can barely imagine. Their parents were killed; many of their sisters were sold into slavery. Many boys died too.

But the survivors started walking. In 1992, five years after their long march began, thousands walked into a refugee camp in Kenya. Over 3,000 boys were later placed into various locations in the United States. The convention was a heart warming reuniting of many of the boys who traveled those thousands of miles together and had not seen one another since that time.

Ambassadors for Humanity participates in the Lifetracks Global Mission Project in Tanzania.

Proceeds from our HEART of Giving Global Art project funds a surgery for a woman in desperate need from Tanzania. Over one million women in Africa suffer Female Genital Mutilation or traumatic birth injuries due to lack of medical care that leave women permanently incontinent. This is extremely humiliating, and has dire social consequences. They are ostracized by their family and friends, rejected and divorced by their husbands and forced to leave their jobs and homes. They become social outcasts. They do not just lose their baby, they lose everything! The surgery corrects the damage from female mutilation or from child birth trauma.

Ambassadors for Humanity is honored to help one of our "sisters" of the world regain her respect and dignity. We invite you to participate in helping the women of Africa recover from these atrocious acts.
